@kristamagnifico Hello! I was wondering if you could give me some advice to help out me and my kitty Dexter. We took a visit to the vet because he’s been sick and not getting any better. We found out he has a tooth infection and needs his k9 tooth removed, but we don’t have the money for the surgery so for now he’s on his second day of antibiotics and pain meds. When I got home from work today, his face, especially the bridge of his nose, is swollen. I’m guessing it’s an abscess? My questions are, will the infection spread while he’s on antibiotics? I love him so much, I hate to see him in so much pain and it kills me that I can’t afford surgery. Is there a point where I should know that it’s time to stop his suffering and take him in? Should I have hope in the antibiotics? I just don’t know what to do for him 🙁 Anything will help, and thank you so much in advance. You are wonderful for doing this for people.
