Hello!
Unfortunately lumps and bumps are a case by case scenario… some may not be worrisome while others seem to change drastically.
Cost all depends on everything being done and the severity of the case.
I am glad your kitty is doing everything normal and overall a healthy fur baby.
Removing lumps can give us answers and hopefully lead us to ways that can help treat.
Hope this helps some,
let us know.

To add to my original response, I would talk to your vet about fluids and pain meds to do at home. Also, if your kitty will eat wet food, We highly suggest it over dry.

Hello,
I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this. Unfortunately, once a kitty has a blockage, we typically see it reoccur in some cases. I would highly suggest that you talk to your vet about a PU surgery (Perineal urethrostomy). It is a surgical method for alleviating a urethral obstruction. We also always recommend switching your cat to a veterinary recommended Urinary diet for the rest of your kitty friends life.
Hope this helps some!

Hi! Paralyzed cat mom here????
Your story sounds a lot like mine when Hamilton arrived. He came to us around 5-6 weeks old with no obvious wounds or breaks. We weren’t sure what to do but give him a chance..
He is unable to urinate and defecate on his own so therefore this is something I do every day multiple times.
This friends are hard to care for but easy if you have the patience and willingness to do so.
As my kitty got a little bigger, we looked into a wheel chair for him(he hates it). I learned he was better on his own scooting around. Some days he wears a diaper, but you have to be careful with this as they need cleaned every time they pee.
As far as expressing the bladder, you have to find what you’re most comfortable with and what the cat is comfortable with. My kitty doesn’t really like anyone expressing his bladder but myself because because we have our “routine”.
Hoping this kitty excels in life and gets all the love he deserves! We are here to help and I’m happy to share tips/tricks that I have learned myself along the way!!!

Kitties are rebellious to injuries, but most HATE being wrapped in anything…
Surgery may or may not be needed, but with kittens constantly growing, it would not jump straight to it!
Confining them to a smaller space and keeping them “confined” is a good place to start.

If the kitty does not seem to be improving with the break, some vets may talk about amputation as well. Radiographs may be helpful to see where exactly the break is to further choose the best decision for the kitty.

Good morning.
Sometimes dogs may need their anal lands expressed on a normal basis. Some come in every 2 weeks, others 4-6 weeks. There may not necessarily be an “issue” per se, but some may need this as a routine for them.
If it becomes a concern, you may want to talk to your vet about removal if they start to become impacted/infected…

Hello!
Typically it needs drained in order for it to go away.

Has your vet prescribed any medications? We often do antibiotics, anti inflammatories etc. to get everything calm and feeling better.

Is your kitty scratching? If so, add a cone in. If very active, maybe ask your vet to add in a sedative to keep calm while the ear tries to heal.

Hello!
Could she have possibly been stung by a bee? allergic reaction?
You can give benadryl 25mg, it is 1mg per pound… for instance if she is 50pounds, she would receive 2- 25mg tablets. This can be given every 8-12 hours. If she does not improve, I would reach out to your local vet for a check up.
Hope this helps

Hello-
Dr. Magnifico and I just recently just did a polyp search on a 9 month old Maine Coon kitty… It ended up being chronic rhinitis which took multiple rounds of anti inflammatory, antivirals and antibiotics.
She trust Dr.Berger at Long Island Spay/Neuter… you will have to pay a consult fee no matter where you go, as this gets your foot in the door! Keep us posted-

Vomiting can be for many reasons.
Upset stomach? Could he/she have gotten into anything? Ate something they weren’t suppose to?

We recommending withholding for for the day and starting to then feed small amount if they seem to be improving.
Next steps would be radiographs to confirm whether anything seems odd, and sometimes sending out a blood panel to check levels.
Let us know if you have any questions!
