How young is the puppy? What breed? The smaller the dog the more urgent it is to take care of it. Is there any chance she ate a piece of a toy or something she shouldn’t? Is she behaving normally otherwise, playing, running etc, or also seem quiet? These are measures of whether you need to see a vet right now or tomorrow morning. I would definitely not wait any longer than that. If she’s also lethargic, starts vomiting, gets diarrhea or any other signs of trouble, if she’s very young and/or very small, I’d seek a vet today.

Well, it may or may not be bad; depending on how strong his system is. Butter is not toxic but it is, clearly, very high in fat. So the biggest danger from consumption of so much of it would be pancreatitis. I imagine some dogs might eat all that and just get a mild stomach upset. Others might get in a lot of trouble. Pancreatitis is painful and can be dangerous. If he’s still vomiting and/or looking ill, do see a vet asap.

Sounds like he barks and lunges because he’s terrified of everything. I would start by reading “Guide To Living With & Training A Fearful Dog”
http://fearfuldogs.com/books-consultations/

You will need to come up with a plan to build his confidence, increase his comfort zone with things, and in the meantime, give him space and manage his environment and situations he’s exposed to.

Vomiting that often and that long warrants a vet visit. You cannot do much without knowing what is causing it. It could be so many different things. Starting from infections, issues with various organs, blockage …

Oh, so more of a scrape than a cut then. What did you clean it with? Clean is most important. I normally use Betadine solution, rinsing generously. Soapy water I think can be used as well. Then I monitor for it being licked or messed with, as well as for redness, swelling and bad odor. With Cookie’s we were applying raw Manuka Honey. If using bandage, we change 3x daily.

How old is the cut? The 2cm is depth? As a general rule, yes, you should go to a vet. Provided no “functional” tissues are damaged, and if you cannot see a vet, two things that are crucial – cleaning it really well and keeping it infection free. But best policy is to see a vet.

I know, right? So weird. It’s coming down again. If it was below the eye I’d suspect a tooth. But this is above the eye brow … I’d also expect infection from a foreign body or something like that last longer than that without some targeted treatment as Benadryl doesn’t treat infections. I bet it will be gone before the day is over today. So it’s just strange. What other types of swelling would Benadryl treat for good? (I wouldn’t assume one day of Benadryl would treat anything for two weeks)

If you don’t it might cost you her life. Pale gums is a serious matter. At least call them and ask. At least have physical exam done and you can then discuss what else needs to be done.

Bon, pale gums is an emergency. It means something isn’t right with the blood or blood flow. Please see a vet now.

You get it diagnosed. That’s the only way. It could be indeed an infection, fungal or bacterial, it could be immune problem … each of those things has a different treatment. Cannot treat something without knowing what you’re treating. Please see a vet and have the problem identified so it can be treated successfully. What breed is your dog?
