Hello,
It sounds like you have a very full and busy life with your pets already and that you are about to embark on a new adventure at school. birds need a great deal of time and attention and can be very fragile in stressful environments. I think it would be best to focus on your current pets and starting another chapter of your life and leave the bird quest for a time when you are settled and comfortable with a home and can devote the hours and space needed to care for them adequately.
Hello,
Can you try feeding her wet food? Even in small amounts with water added and see how she does? Perhaps she cannot eat dry food? Or she eats too much too fast? Also meow mix is not suitable for a kitten. Please try a better quality food that is age appropriate (kitten food).
Hello
A trainer might be able to help you with basic obedience training so that he listens to commands and learns to listen before acting. Also it might help to start to expose him to cats in a safe neutral territory so that he gets used to them and is not so curious about chasing or harassing them. Dogs can be trained to live with cats safely. Good luck.
Hello,
It can be signs of many things but it is usually a sign of something serious and you should see your vet as quickly as possible.
Hello,
I think the best way is to see a vet for an injectable sedative. The other option is to keep the penis lubricated with sterile KY jelly and wait until the tissue relaxes on its own. Protecting against self mutilation and trauma along with drying is imperative. Please also neuter your dog.
I agree with laura. Also please try to provide her a quiet, warm, stress free place to rest and lots of food options. Please also have her spayed.
Hello,
I need a better description of “everything”. Please. Have you brought a fecal sample to your vet for analysis? This is the best place to start. In fact I usually recommend three serial exams before I rule out parasites in kittens. I also think the diet can be tweaked. But I need to know the age of your kitten before I can comment on this. Pleaee give me more info
I have never heard of an elevated bowl causing bloat. I have however recommended lots of dogs use an elevated bowl if I am concerned about megaesophogus.
I would be very afraid that the lack of output is related to a lack of input. That’s what I most commonly see. A dog who is not eating well or at all. The only thing I can safely recommend is to see your vet for an exam so they can assess whether this is an obstruction, constipation, anorexia, etc. until you know why your dog isn’t defecating I would not try anything at home. Please see your vet as quickly as possible. Either tonight or by morning. Good luck
