Perfect thanks yes her nipples are big and the last two look swollon a little is this normal when can I take her to a vet have u had chi babies before!?

Hi Cynthia, you probably won’t be able to tell shes pregnant just yet….shes not even half way through the 9 weeks they carry pups.
You may see a slight change in her nipples, perhaps they might be a little redder or bigger than normal but not even that really. Another 3 weeks and you should see some signs.

No I’ve never had Chi’s but all bitches carry them much the same. As for giving birth, did she mate with another Chi? If not puppies may well be too big for her to pass. I would make sure you have her checked by a Vet and one on hand when she goes into labour….these tiny breeds can have problems. Make sure you worm the puppies when they are born at 2 weeks, 5 weeks, 8 weeks and every 3 weeks after that. Ask Vet about wormer for pups and mum will need worming too…all puppies have worms, they lay… Read more »

Ok thats good at least they are the same size dogs. Hopefully she will have the pups with no problems but be aware that theu still may be too big for her to pass.
