My Frenchie was on my deck yesterday with my kids and he somehow lost his toenail. I got the bleeding stopped and goigm to get a wrap for it now, should he be okay without the vet or is a vet visit advised ?

In almost all cases a broken nail is not a big deal …. But I have had one or two that do not follow that rule. So. It’s best to see your vet.
I worry about infection and an immune mediated disease that causes the nails to not grow normally.
