My cat has vomited three times today – it was clear and has gotten yellow. He’s still drinking water and is active – no lethargy or soreness. Do I need to take him to the ER immediately or should I see if it continues?

Hi! My cat has a pink, goopy eye. He has had this in the past and it’s gone away within a day or two but it’s been about 4 days now. What do you think it is? Should I take him to the vet?

Aly Elbatrawy well this is a normal thing in puppies as their teeth begin to hurt as this is the time when they fall off and new ones start to grow, but you can try telling him “no” when he does this, you can also leave him and walk away as if you don’t want to talk to him. but don’t pull your hand from his mouth aggressively because he will think that you are playing and will keep doing it. but the best option is to buy him a rubber bone and give it to him when he starts biting your hand until his teeth stop hurting him and he will stop biting eventually.
i have a 5 months cane corso which has lately formed a lump on his left limb which i believe is caleed histiocytoma and now he is licking it to the point that it bleeds. does anyone know how to make it go away without surgery? also if it goes away will hair still grow in that area?
I have a male gsd. I’m wanting to add a lab o our family. Would male or female be a better fit?? I hear generally, you want to add the opposite sex but als heard the female labs are pretty moody.

Anonymous I, personally, prefer mixed sex pairs. GSDs are prone to same sex aggression, which cannot be trained out…and it usually doesn’t show up until living with another male dog.
All bitches are moody – it’s part of being female and hormonal. If you go through an ethical, reputable breeder who fully health tests and titles their dogs per the breed club’s code of ethics, you’ll be stacking the deck in your favor as far as temperament is concerned.
Sounds like he barks and lunges because he’s terrified of everything. I would start by reading “Guide To Living With & Training A Fearful Dog”
http://fearfuldogs.com/books-consultations/
You will need to come up with a plan to build his confidence, increase his comfort zone with things, and in the meantime, give him space and manage his environment and situations he’s exposed to.
Great advice from Jana. Also, the author of that book, Debbie Jacobs, has a Facebook group called “Fearful Dogs” where you can get lots of support from experienced pro’s as well as chatting with other people who live with fearful dogs.
