good day urgently need to know what can close a callus on a dog and stretch skin due to lack of skin above tail from burns

Matthew Kelcourse Hello Sonia.
That depends on what caused the burn, the extent of immediate and long-term tissue damage, and secondary infections, bacteremia and septicemia; not to mention patient comfort, emotional wellbeing and pain management. The best advice is to seek veterinary medical attention for immediate and long-term care.
Dr K

My dog is inside. But keeps getting sores on her
I’m pregnant and currently out of work I have no money for the vets right now.. We tried Benadryl doesn’t help.. We have tried over the counter hot spot sprays no help.. We switched his food to a wheat grain and soy free food and I was so happy because he started going away and looking so much better and then it came right back.. He was the runt of his litter non of his other 9 siblings have this I’ve kept in touch with all the owners. (I rescued a pit who was pregnant) I don’t know what to do I feel so bad for him but I’m so broke right now being out of work I’ve had to file bankruptcy. I need help.
He said it had been hit by a car and could operate for £1000 , but had a 50/50 chance of surviving , had to have it put down still trying to understand why as it looked OK

Brian Richardson The vet tapped one side of the cat which sounded hollow then the other which sounded as though nothing there he said it was some sort of hernia
My dog just stands in one place and acts like it hurts to move. He’ll start panting and had some saliva drip from his mouth. He’s never acted like this before..please help!

Anonymous if your vet isn’t open, i’d be seriously considering going to an emergency vet.
-
Ashley Frey We don’t have any emergency vet places around here 🙁
-
Anonymous does your vet have an emergency phone number on their answering service?
-
Ashley Frey Not that I know of. I did message one of my friends that works at a vet clinic to see if maybe they have one
-
Anonymous that’s good. i hope he can get in somewhere. good luck.
-
Ashley Frey Thanks! I hope so, he’s really starting to worry me.
My dog, Sonny is acting very weird. He was fine yesterday before we went to bed. He just stands in one spot and acts like it hurts to move and he has saliva that’ll drip from his mouth. Any help is appreciated!
What’s better a large kennel or a crate to keep your dogs in while your not home?

Dawn Ferara, DVM I prefer a crate but I really don’t think it matters.
-
Anonymous i’m not sure of a difference…are you talking about plastic vs wire?
both of my dobes preferred plastic vari-kennels. that’s what my breeder has in her home, so they came to us already adjusted to the cave-like feel of the vari-kennel.
HOWEVER. if you have a puppy, you’d want to find one that has a barrier you can put in for housebreaking purposes.

PK Dennis I think it depends on how long you are away. If you expect to be away longer than 8 hours for an adult dog, it is better to have a kennel with access to the outdoors, and a section that is inside and warm — so the dog can get out of the sun, rain, cold.
If on the other hand you only are gone short periods of time then any type of crate will keep your dog(s) safe and comfortable while you are gone. Get them to love their crate by allowing them to go in and out when you are at home. Give them stuffed Kongs to chew when they are in their crates.
And always, always, give them a treat when they go into the kennel or crate. My boys will tear though the house to get to the basement kennel each time I say “kennel boys” cause they know I will scatter tiny treats in the kennel for them before I lock the gate.
You would have to syringe feed, I would imagine, but dosage should be discussed with your exotics vet.
