She had a hard time realizing what the liter box was and so forth. I am just wondering if there was anything I could have done differently and is there anything that I did to cause this?

Today out of the blue my 7 year old female Collie starting limping and it has gotten worse throughout the day.
She isnt in pain or distress and is not off her food, just unable to put weight on her front left paw.
Its been about 8 hours now and shes gone from being able to put a little weight on it to walking on only 3 legs.
Im thinking it could possibly be a bee sting but was looking for advice????

debra yuhasz Dogs express pain very differently than people do and they are not usually big babies about it. If not walking on that foot eases the pain she may have no symptom other than not walking on that foot. Since it’s been getting worse over the past eight hours I suggest you see a vet. Even if you examine her and find the problem it’s very likely she’ll require some kind of treatment even if it’s just antibiotics or antihistamines.
It has happened for the past 2 days. He’s fine most of the day and after a nap in the afternoon he wakes up limping and won’t use his back right leg. What can I do?
Im not sure if my puppy has swallowed a tiny button battery. What should i do? do i just let it pass?

Wendy Ylen Not good! You should get him to a vet for an X-ray to determine if he did indeed eat the battery. There is corrosive material inside batteries that could cause a lot of tissue damage inside if the battery starts to leak or the battery itself could cause an obstruction. Sometimes you can look in their mouth & see where there are mouth sores from the battery- there could be sores on the tongue, inside of cheeks. Your dog should see a vet ASAP to ensure he is safe from the acid & an obstruction.
Found a lump on my Guinea pigs butt and I’m not sure what it is or what to do about it. It’s right above the butt where the tail would be. Don’t have money to take him to the vet right now. Is there anything I could do to help him without that?

Lindsey Knouse Hi, the pictures are not visible, can you try again? Guinea pigs commonly get trichoepitheliomas which are most commonly benign and the most common spot for them is near the tail/hind end. That being said, any mass on any animal has potential to be cancerous until proven otherwise. Your vet could aspirate some cells with a needle if the mass is big enough or simply remove it which is recommended while it is small. Even though trichoepitheliomas are usually benign, they can get very large and uncomfortable or ulcerated so removal while they are small (to prevent surgical complications) is recommended.
My one year old female cat has been acting tired lately. She is eating an drinking and using her box like normal. She is sleeping alot. Im not sure if i should be worried or not
I live in England and I have a Syrian hamster and I have built an outside cage- is it a good idea to put the hamster in it and for how long?

Anonymous hamsters are not outside pets. please keep him inside where he’s safe and in a climate-controlled environment.

Emma Willcocks Oh but a vet told me I could for an hour or so? If it was a safe place?
-
Anonymous i personally wouldn’t do it. too much predator risk.

Dawn Ferara, DVM Honestly as long as he is completely safe he will likely enjoy fresh air and sunlight, however, he may get this near an open window! I like animals to go out but they must be safe. An hour should be fine.

Dawesome Meltzington An hour should be fine as long as the weather is not to cold, or hot and there is a top to the cage to protect him from other animals. Also, is it is just to play, you can sit outside on the grass and let him run around on you as long as you are watching him carefully, but make sure it was not sprayed by pestisied or any other chemichal spray within 48 hours
why does my maltese keep going round in circles when he walks and chews his paw?
Are foods containing baking soda harmful to pet rats?
Yes I put her down earlier. Vet mentioned a stroke or lesion on brain. Is this what a stroke presents as?
Thank you. I am just having a hard time like most realizing I did the right thing. Obviously she was not herself. I just pray I did the right thing, and she’s not mad at me
