My cat Cher has always made a snoring sound even when she wasn’t sleeping and constant nasal discharge. We tried antibiotics to no avail. A previous vet said she may just have chronic rhinitis. Aside from the never ending snot and noisy breathing she was fine. Then one day she vommitted and stopped eating. I took her to our primary vet. We did antibiotics and Cerenia, but I was referred to a specialist to see what is the underlying cause of her condition. The specialist charged $400 just for blood work and he thought she had a nasopharyngeal polyp. I left with a future invoice of almost $3k. While doing some research I came across Dr. Krista Magnifico on YouTube. Fortunately I was only a couple hours away. They got me scheduled quickly and planned to remove the polyp same day if that’s what they found. Cher and I made the journey and sure enough a very large polyp was removed from her. I paid $653. About 20% of what I would’ve paid at the specialist and Cher is doing great! I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Magnifico.
