Riachu came into Jarrettsville Vet Center because he was having trouble walking. After an examination it was determined that he had a urinary blockage.
In order to remove the blockage, x-rays were taken and a treatment plan was able to be implemented. Riachu was hospitalized and a urinary catheter was sued to clear the blockage. Riachu did not have a history of urinary tract infections or previous blockages.

Riachu recovered well and his owner stated ” he is doing great”. He is drinking more water and they are monitoring him at home to ensure that no other blockages occur.
