Emergency Visit

Abdominal Ultrasound on a 11 month old Domestic Long Haired Cat

Tell Your Story:

Gravy is a long time patient at JVC. Recently, she’s been having some blood in her urine so her O brought her in so we can figure out what is going on exactly.

Gravy was admitted to the hospital in the morning and was put into a cage to rest with a litterbox full of NoSorb® (It’s non-absorbable cat litter so we can collect the urine as cleanly as possible.)

At some point before her ultrasound, Gravy had an IV catheter placed in one of her front limbs so that she can receive IV fluid therapy during her ultrasound procedure.

Gravy’s ultrasound was successful in narrowing down the cause of her issue. A treatment plan was formed by the Veterinarian and Gravy was discharged later that day by a Technician.
