Lewis came in to the clinic with urinary problems. His owners suspected a UTI. After an exam the veterinarian determined that he had a urinary blockage. With a prescription diet, medication, and an unblock procedure, Lewis was feeling better.
About a month later Lewis was straining to urinate again. After an exam this time, it was determined that Lewis had another blockage. He was x-rayed and had another unblock procedure completed.
Lewis needed to be kept on the prescription food for urinary care for the long term. He also had to have more water added into his diet. His owner was able to implement these measures which helped Lewis tremendously.
Below are the procedures and their costs for both of the visits when Lewis was unblocked.
Visit 1:

Lewis did well with these procedures and is recovering well. There is a chance that the blockage could come back, but with the prescription food and added water into his diet he will hopefully remain unblocked.
