Mork has never been to a veterinarian before and recently made his first appearance at JVC for an emergency appointment for a urinary blockage.

Mork was promptly taken to the treatment area where he was assessed by the doctor. It was promptly decided that he needed to be unblocked right away. A Technician went over the surgical procedure check in form with the owner, answering any questions or addressing any concerns they may have.

Once Mork was sedated they were successful unblocking him. A urinary catheter was placed and Mork was given sub cutaneious fluid therapy to help him remain hydrated overnight helping to flush out his urine. Mork had received a pain relieving injection during his procedure to help keep him comfortable while he recuperates from his day.

The next morning an IV catheter was placed so Mork could get direct IV fluid therapy to further flush out his system.

After a couple of days Mork’s urine was nice and clear and he was sent home feeling much better.
