Piper was here at JVC late August 2023 for her Annual Physical Exam and it was recommended that she have her teeth cleaned and polished, along with possibly some tooth extractions as well due to moderate dental disease with loose teeth.

While she was here we also updated some of her vaccines and collected blood to submit to the lab to ensure Piper is safe to undergo anesthesia for her upcoming dental procedure.

On the day os surgery Piper was checked in by a Technician, an IV catheter was placed and she was started on IV fluid therapy in preparation for surgery.

Only two teeth needed to be extracted during the procedure. Piper’s remaining teeth were then scaled and polished. She woke up smoothly and recovered nicely.

At the end of the day, Piper was discharged by a Technician with the Owner, going over all post surgical instructions and answering any questions or addressing any concerns there might be.
