In February Zebra came to JVC for her Annual Exam. During the exam concern over her mouth and Stomatitus. The first step taken was Laser therapy and monitoring but that if it wasn’t helping a full mouth extraction would be the recommended next step.

Unfortunately Zebra ended up coming back a month later for the full mouth dental extraction.

On the day of surgery, Zebra had an IV catheter placed and started on IV fluids. When it was time for her procedure, she was induced and intubated by the Doctor for surgery. Zebra was maintained on ISO/O2 at a surgical plane of anesthesia.

Lots of teeth were extracted due to stomatitis and sutured. An injectable pain killer was administered to help ensure Zebra’s comfort.

While sedated, Zebra also received a free nail trim.

Zebra’s recovery was smooth and routine.

She did not need any medications to go home and was discharged by a technician later that same day.
