Our vet had told us that we should have Stella come in for the Lyme vaccine especially with the prevalence of it in our area, and her previous owners had not done it. So, one week after her first round Lepto shot, we brought her back in for the Lyme one. No real symptoms or conditions so much as just the need to get the vaccine.

The diagnosis was that Stella had not had her Lyme shots yet.

The vet was very gentle and Stella barely complained while getting her shot. She was very well cared for throughout the visit.

Unfortunately, an hour or two after we brought Stella home, she did get sick (vomit). It only happened once however, and we had read that sometimes the Lyme shots are hard on little dogs. She seemed fine after being sick once, and just wasn’t so hungry until the next day but otherwise was behaving like herself again (just a little sleepy).
