Denvers first exam was when he was not feeling well. He was having vomiting and diarrhea and not eating well.\ for about a day. As with all puppy illness it is really important to not wait long if they aren’t doing well. Puppies are fragile and they can dehydrate very quickly.
A fecal was sent for analysis and medications were given for nausea and diarrhea.
Along with his immediate medical issues we made a plan for his follow up. In fact we made two plans; one for things not being better tomorrow, and the other for resuming normal puppy care.
Examinations at the clinic are $50.
He was also given an injectable anti-nausea medication $31
probiotic $33
and anti-diarrhea medication $33
(His first visit also included a microchip and first doses of preventatives).
Thankfully after that visit he was right back to being a normal healthy puppy. His first puppy exam was a discussion of questions, advice, and a plan for the next 4-8 months of his life.
He is a bright, energetic, sweet puppy. He is all cuddles, wags, and effervescent joy. He is perfect and his parents love him dearly. It is a recipe for a life long love and success!
An examination and a plan for his puppy-hood!
Denver is a perfectly healthy puppy, mind, body and soul thanks to his incredibly loving, devoted and kind parents, with a little help from his veterinarian, who adores him!
