Luna came in for a routine vet visit and to discuss some weakness in her right hind leg.
After an examination and x-rays, it was determined that she would benefit greatly from a cruciate repair to help stabilize her knee, and ultimately give Luna better mobility. She recently had the surgery and is recovering nicely! Below are the procedures that she had and their costs.
pre op x-rays- $150
pre op bloodwork- $200
cruciate ligament repair- $500
surgical package (including anesthesia)- $250
IV catheter, fluids, and fluid pump- included with procedure
propofol for induction- $60
post op pain medication- $70
antibiotics- $40
protective e-collar- $15
TOTAL- $1285
Luna recovered well, and her right hind leg is now able to give her much more stability and is pain free.
