Skittles presented with abdominal swelling. After an examination it was determined that she had an infected uterus or pyometra. Because of the deadlines of this condition, it was determined that she needed to have surgery as soon as possible.
The next day Skittles was spayed to remove the infected uterus. Her surgery went well and she recovered nicely.
