Kylo is a 1 yr old curly haired Golden Retriever/Poodle Mix that started coming to Jarrettsville Vet as a puppy about 1 year ago and has continued coming for his medical care needs.
Now that he is of age, his owners scheduled his neuter surgery. Prior to the day of surgery, Kylo had his blood drawn and sent to the lab to make sure he ok for anesthesia.
On surgery day a Technician checked in Kylo, going over the surgical paperwork with the O and answering any questions the owner had.
Kylo was then taken to the treatment area where his IV catheter was placed by a Technician. Next he was connected to his IV fluid pump and began his IV fluid therapy in preparation for surgery.
The neuter went smoothly and Kylo recovered from his anesthesia without any issues. Once he’d had time to fully recover, he was discharged later that day.
