Edgar is 2yr old Old English Sheepdog with the Black Dog Rescue group, which brings their animals to Jarrettsville Vet Center for medical care.
Edgar is 2 years old but had not yet been neutered so Black Dog Rescue group brought him in to see us for an exam as well as to get pre-neuter bloodwork so that Edgar can have his surgery.
On the day of surgery, Edgar was dropped off first thing in the morning and checked in by a Technician, addressing any questions and/or concerns the owner may have prior to surgery.
Edgar was then taken to the treatment area where his IV catheter was placed by a Technician. Next he was connected to his IV fluid pump and began his IV fluid therapy in preparation for surgery.
The neuter went smoothly and Edgar recovered from his anesthesia without any issue. Once he’d had time to fully recover, he was discharged later that day.
