Symptoms:
routine feline castration. Age of most cat neuters is about 6 months old. This was a recently rescued and adopted cat. He was neutered late because of this.
Diagnosis:
normal healthy feline. He had pre-op blood work (partial 6 panel chemistry, cbc, and feline leukemia and FIV test, all were normal/negative.
Treatment:
injectable anesthetic, incise scrotum overhand knot technique for neuter.. but many other options are used.
Conclusion:
routine neuter, no complications
