Mavis is a 1.5yr old Boxer that comes to Jarrettsville Vet Center for her medical care. Now that she is old enough it’s time for her to be spayed.
On the day of surgery, Mavis was dropped off first thing in the morning and checked in by a Technician, addressing any questions and/or concerns the owner may have prior to surgery.
Mavis was then taken to the treatment area where her IV catheter was placed by a Technician. Next she was connected to an IV fluid pump and began IV fluid therapy in preparation for surgery.
The spay was routine and went smoothly. Mavis recovered from anesthesia without any issue. Once she’d had time to fully recover, Mavis was discharged later that day.
