Fern joined the JVC family last December. Over the months since then, Fern has continued to visit JVC for all of her medical care needs. Now that she is old enough, her spay surgery was scheduled.
She was dropped off first thing in the morning on the day of surgery s, fasted since the night before at midnight. After being checked in by a Technician, Fern was taken to the treatment area.
Once in the treatment area, Fern had an IV catheter placed in one of her front limbs by a technician. Following the catheter placement, Fern relaxed on a soft bed, connected to her IV fluid therapy in preparation for surgery.
Everything with her surgery was routine and went great. She was maintained on anesthesia during the surgery and woke up gradually and recovered fully without issue.
Later that day Fern was discharged by a Technician, going over the discharge paperwork and answering any questions the owner had.
After a few weeks Fern will have fully recovered from her surgery and will be running around happy as a clam!
