Sepsis Turned Fatal

Symptoms:

Colby presented with a 104.7 degree fever, extreme abdominal pain, Hx of immunocompromised, and abnormal blood work.

Diagnosis:

Sepsis-diagnosed on Necropsy. VSH thought he had necrotizing pancreatitis and kidney failure-both of which the necropsy showed no evidence of.

Treatment:

Hospitalization, presser therapy, dextrose therapy, feeding tube, central line, ultrasound, abx,…

Conclusion:

Death
