Pixel is a 7 month old Biewer Terrier that came to JVC at the start of the year for an initial puppy exam and to begin vaccinations. Now that Pixel is old enough she came in to have her spay surgery. While she was here, she also had some deciduous teeth removed.
On the day of surgery, Millie was dropped off first thing in the morning and checked in by a Technician, addressing any questions and/or concerns the owner may have prior to surgery.
Pixel was then taken to the treatment area where her IV catheter was placed by a Technician. Next she was connected to an IV fluid pump and began IV fluid therapy in preparation for surgery.
The spay was routine and went smoothly. Pixel recovered from anesthesia without any issues. Once she’d had time to fully recover, Pixel was discharged to her owner later that day.
