Bruno came into JVC to be seen for having diarrhea. Additionally, he is not eating dog food, but is eating cooked chicken and Still going out to play.
He was treated symptomatically and sent home with some medications after receiving sub cutaneous fluids from a Technician.
The next morning, Bruno was not eating well anymore and had begun vomiting, so he returned to JVC for additional care. X-rays were taken and Pancreatitis was found to be the culprit..
An IV catheter was placed in one of Bruno’s front limbs so he could begin IV fluid therapy immediately. He was given an antibiotic as well as an anti nausea medication. Bruno remained under Technician supervision the the treatment area for the remainder of the day. After doing well throughout the day, Bruno was picked up and went home overnight.
Bruno returned again the next day for additional monitoring and medications to go home with.
After several days had passed, Bruno is now feeling well again and happy to be feeling better!
