Dr. Magnifico often suggests using dirt in the litterbox. I would also have at least one other box on hand…most cats really don’t enjoy pooping where they pee.
I found a kitten today under a car it was about 94 F outside, she looks about 2 weeks old. I fed her small bottle of milk through out the day but she won’t poo or pee. I read online that we have to stimulate them like their mom would so I tried but she just won’t, I don’t know what else to do.

Our cat is about 8 years old, and we got her from the humane society 2 years ago. Her problem is that she poops outside of the litter box frequently. Sometimes she poops in the box, sometimes not, sometimes on the couch, the table, the laundry, the floor, wherever. Never the same place twice. She’s not sick and doesn’t have worms, and she pees in the litter fine. We’ve tried different litter, moving it to different places, and nothing works. We are so confused by this cat! Help if you can please, thank you!
Mixed breed. About 8 months old. Noticeably less active over last 24 hours. Presently can barely stay awake and seems to have chest congestion. No money for a vet. What can we do to help him?
I have a persian kitten of 2 months she is becoming very weak and there is too much hair loss n there are red bumps on her ears n neck n some thing yellow type in her hairs..
My Chihuahua who is very active has his left rear leg dangling when he walks. He sometimes tries to stand on it but cannot. When he is outside peeing he tries to stand on it when he hikes and falls right over He is a inside dog. He does jump up on the couch but I have not seen him do anything out of the ordinary. He does not cry with pain but I am very concerned.
My dog just gave birth to two new born puppies one of them came out with a clef lip how am i suppose to feed it if it isnt eating help please i dont want my puppy to die ?!
We have a 9 week old puppy that house trains really well with one exception. He keeps popping in my daughter room. We keep the door shut, I have steam cleaned and scrubbed the carpet, but if the door is open for a couple minutes he will do his business in there.
He has a spot in the yard where he goes and I take him outside every hour or more often, so it isn’t that he doesn’t know where to go or intervals are too long. He also never pooped anywhere else in the house.
What can we do to discourage him from pooping in her room?

Anonymous He’s too young to have that level of freedom in the house. At this age he should be tethered to you when you can supervise him and crated when you can’t.

PK Dennis I agree with Laura, this puppy is too young for the amount of freedom you are giving him. Tether him to you with a leash when you can’t watch him like a hawk until he is 6 monrhs old or even older. It takes months to house train a puppy

Wiebke Wiebel Thank you for your reply. Yes, he gets praised and rewarded for going outside. When he poops in her room I just remove it without saying anything. I will look into redefining the area like you suggested.
Hello, My wife is currently in Kuwait with their family. They have a cat and they believe it has been bitten by a bug. The cat has started acting very strange; trying to bite it’s tail, breathing very heavily. It’s face and paws have become very red, its sweating too. Because it is Ramadan over there they cannot access any help for the cat for the next 4 hours. Any idea what it could be, and what they can do? They are worried the cat may die.

Eleven Bestill The situation is getting worse; it has bitten its tail so much that it is bleeding very badly.

Eleven Bestill Krista: Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately they cannot access any services for the next 4 hours. I guess until then they will have to hang on.

Eleven Bestill Does anyone have any advice on how to stop the cat from biting itself / bleeding in the meantime???
-
Eleven Bestill Thankfully the cat has been fully vaccinated. It had calmed down a bit, but if it starts again then restraint may be the best option. Thank you for your help and advice. I’ve tried so many places, and this is the only one where I have had positive advice!

Eleven Bestill They managed to go to the vet after waiting 4 hours. During that time he had calmed down a bit and gone very quiet so no restraint necessary! The vet said it some sort of bite and they gave him a shot. They said all should be fine. Scare over! Thank you for your advice 🙂

Do you know if you are stimulating her correctly? You really need to contact the local humane society or cat rescue for help and instruction on how to properly stimulate the kitten. U should use a warm moist washcloth to rub on belly to stimulate the kitten.
