Thank you so much for your response! But I am aware of that – my question is how quickly this happens. So, wiill 24-48 hours make a considerable impact? His ears have been gently cleaned, and he’s been given his allergy meds.
I have an American Bulldog who is almost 2 years old. Despite training, he is very aggressive towards other dogs. He was attacked by a pit bull, on our property, before he was a year old and every since will not tolerate any other dogs or any kind of animals for that matter. We have paid quite a bit for training to try and help him socialize but after a while he is back to his old self. No one will board him and we can’t take him anywhere that has a lot of people or other animals. He’s great at home and wonderful with our children, so I am at a loss s to what to do. He also has pretty bad hip problems and is in pain a lot if he gets a lot of exercise. I love him so much, as does my family, but I want to do the right, humane thing. Help.

She’s an American bull dog and she’s about 7 years old. She’s never done this before. I also have 2 other dogs and they aren’t acting like this.
She is a Bengal, approx 1 year old, de sexed and lives with a male tabby 5 years old also desexed. They are both healthy indoor cats. There have been no other behavioural changes, she’s very affectionate, eating and drinking well. No more or less than usual. The urine stains don’t show any signs of discolouration and don’t smell unusual or different from the other cat’s.
How urgent is a hematoma? My dog developed one last night. I know he needs to see a vet, but we’re Americans so tomorrow is a holiday. Can it wait until Tuesday, or do I need to get him to an emergency vet tonight?
I found a baby rabbit in the road. I been feedin it 2% cow milk. this is my 3rd night havin it An its in a cardboard box with grass and cloth. tonight the rabbit is hittin itself everywhere in the box what should I do an what does it mean?
My dog was breathing really hard when I got home, expresses pain towards her rear end, won’t let me touch her tail, is gassy, threw up earlier and it had a quarter of an unchewed rawhide bone in it, now she’s very lethargic, walking around in pain, her breathing is shallow and is having spasms on her bed, she’s an otherwise healthy 3 and a half year old catahoula American bulldog mix…..
My 1 year old American bulldog/border collie has been scooting her butt and licking her paws, had a previous ear infection with yeast present. How do I even begin to deal with this? I’m suspecting allergies….
Hope Dr. Magnifico is reading this message soon as I do not know what to do. I noticed one of my cats, Dexter, attempting to pee on a cardboard box outside of the litter box. When I approached him he moved only to go to another area and attempt to pee. Having male cats blocked before or with UTI, I knew to keep watch on him. He was laying down and let me brush him for a while and acting okay. I then took a moist tissue and just patted his pee/butt area and a dried piece of poo came off. I thought yeah… that may be the problem because he immediately went to the litter box. After about 5 minutes he left the box without going to the bathroom. Should I take him to the emergency room or could it wait until you open in the morning. If you think I need to take him, which one do you recommend the most. Thanks Sandy Brown
I have an almost 14 yr. old female American Eskimo who hasn’t eaten much in almost a month. Blood work came back normal. She will pick at people food, will not eat “dog” food. Sleeps alot as well. Help.
I have a beautiful American Bull. Such an amazing, sweet character. A few days ago, I noticed this distinctive black mole on his paw. He used to give both paws when he gets treats but he only seems to give just one… the one that hasn’t got the mole. It was quite small, but now it seems to be growing. I know for humans, a mole out of nowhere is normally connected to skin cancer. But is it possible for it to be the same case in dogs? I love him to pieces so I am really worried about him.
Hello, as an extreme animal lover, I say no, try to train and comfort as much as you can, but I don’t know you and I can’t tell you what to do. That’s the last case scenario. Good luck!
Hi Krista, I totally agree.
We have done two extensive training courses for his aggression . One two week program and one five week, away from home program.
