If the ear is that bad you need to see a vet for medication.
My dog was bit by another dog about a week and a half ago. The skin was not broken however she does a sac where the bite was. She’s been acting normal and will let me touch the area. Should I be worried?

I adopted a 2 yo dog 3 mo. ago and believe his tail was docked improperly, causing him pain. Though the procedure was not done recently, it is erythematous, scaling, and inflamed. He bites, licks, and scoots on the area. He randomly yelps out in pain, sulking as if we inflicted it. He is potty trained, but has random bouts of uncontrolled minor incontinence. Assuming these sxs are truly attributed to the docking, what can be done?? (I have had dogs with docked tails before, so, yes, I realize these complications are not common, but certainly possible).
My dog has got some serve ear infection and is very uneasy and pus can be seen. Kindly tell what medicine should i give and other precautions I can take.

I have a 11 year old saint Bernard he has a large tumor on his side and his hips are going out also he has congestive heart failure difficult for him to breathe we are thinking of putting him down is this the right choice
On Thursday my dog’s front right leg started to become very sensitive. I took her to the vet where they said she had just torn some tissue. They prescribed her two different pain medicines and they seem to be working. As of an hour ago that leg randomly starting oozing this grey, bloody discharge. In the beginning there was a lot but it has slowed down quite a bit, still it hasn’t stopped.
What’s the youngest age for a puppy to get her rabies shots?

Anonymous you should be asking your vet this question, as they know your puppy best and they have a schedule in mind for her.
seriously – ask them. 🙂

Today out of the blue my 7 year old female Collie starting limping and it has gotten worse throughout the day.
She isnt in pain or distress and is not off her food, just unable to put weight on her front left paw.
Its been about 8 hours now and shes gone from being able to put a little weight on it to walking on only 3 legs.
Im thinking it could possibly be a bee sting but was looking for advice????

debra yuhasz Dogs express pain very differently than people do and they are not usually big babies about it. If not walking on that foot eases the pain she may have no symptom other than not walking on that foot. Since it’s been getting worse over the past eight hours I suggest you see a vet. Even if you examine her and find the problem it’s very likely she’ll require some kind of treatment even if it’s just antibiotics or antihistamines.
Sounds like the dog may have hurt the underlying tissue. I would take her to the very.
