unfortunately you’re going to need a vet, and fast. consider Care Credit? it works like a credit card and is interest-free for a year.
Whenever my family and I touch our 6 year old Maltese Shitzu back leg he yelps in pain? Walks with a limp and from time to time he walks on his right leg only because of it. He has no other health problems and this is very out of the blue? We went to the vet a day after it started (23rd/12th) and she thinks it’s something to do with his muscle but not 100% sure. What do you think it is and what would be the cost?

My dog has recently consumed Waggin Trail Chicken Jerky treats and now she keeps puffing with every shallow breath she takes, trembling, non stop walking around, and looks lethargic, I cannot afford to take her to vet. HELP PLEASE
My dog is a 45 lb. German Shepherd mixed with American Terrier 7 year old suffering from something that I don’t know. This started about 4 months ago and has progressed to the point to where he constantly needs a cone on. He cobstantly agressivly licks his underbelly to the point where it has become raw and leathery.at times the area is red and swollen and others its is just leathery looking. Sometimes the area is moist and has a foul odor.recently he has started scratching his nose to the point to where he bleeds and when he is pet he favors those ares.please refer tot the pictures I have included. The vets gave him steroids and antibiotics buy that didn’t seem to help.We have also changed his food as recommended by the vet but nothing changed. the skin scrape of the area also came back negative for bacteria and mites. It sucks that I don’t know what the cause is, please help.
I don’t know how many of you specialize in worms, but my worm has been worming a lot lately. If anyone can help, I feel bad and don’t know WAT 2 doo. That brings me to the point, my dog eats his own poopies.
Anyways, the more important stuff than the poopies, is the balls. My cat Luis has been spitting out his hairballs, I’m trying to feed them back but don’t know if it’s the right thing to doo. Plz help.
~ Love, Jeff.
I have a dog named Bob and he’s been eating his poop. WAT should I do do, get it doo doo. Like, dog poop. SOOO, WAT SHOOD I DOO?

Dawn Ferara, DVM Jeff,
This is a fairly common problem. Behavior modification and picking up the droppings is a non-medical way of fixing this issue. However, there is a medication available from your vet which you feed to your dog and it makes the feces taste bad so your dog will not want to eat the feces.Good luckDr Dawn -
Brett Raio Thank you Dr. Dawn, I want to make his poop taste so bad, he doesn’t even want to poop anymore, especially not inside the house. Not to the point where he explodes lol but to the point he holds it in until he gets outside then doesn’t eat it because it tastes really good. And because he likes doo doo, he mustn’t like poopies. Thank you. ~ My name is Jeff.

yusaimi batista i called my vet and he informed me that as long as he was eating and drinking he should be okay because he poop all the worms that he had and thats probably why hes feeling like he had no energy to give him a couple of days until he gets his energy back i also told the vet that i would like an xray done what do u think
My dog has started tearing apart pillows. Started when we would leave her alone, now she does it at night when we’re sleeping. She doesn’t like toys or chews so we don’t know what to do with her and we take her on several walks a day.

Edyta Blysk She was recently spayed and we’ve taken her to the vet and had blood work done which came back all normal. We took her to the emergency vet after the first pillow because we didn’t know if she ate any of it and they did an X-ray and saw she was constipated so they gave her an enema. She’s hasn’t been eating her food and she tries to eat grass sometimes too.

PK Dennis This dog needs a job. You need to find something that engages her mind and uses up her energy. Flyball if she loves balls, agility, herding sheep. Something you do together. If you only walk her she will need 2 one hour walks per day — believe me you will both be happier with a one hour walk and a training session each day for her “job” than those 2 one hour walks each day.
Next you need to crate train her. Get a very strong crate and watch a video on YouTube about how to get your dog to love a crate – Zak George has a few good videos, just put zak george in the YouTube search and they will pop right up. Crate your dog at night and when you leave the house. You might also want to consider an outdoor kennel run for her when you aren’t home. A good dog is one that managed in such a way that they don’t have the opportunity to do bad things like eating pillows.
Next you have to find things that you dog can chew and give her 2 things to chew per day. I suggest Kongs – stuff them with good stuff like peanut butter and bananas, some of her dog food, green tripe, etc and freeze it so she has to work to get the stuffing out. This will satisfy her need to chew. Avoid any bone that has been cooked or smoked! Antlers aren’t too good for their teeth either if she tries to break off pieces. Raw hip joints are good if you can find them (the ball part at then end of the leg bones – look for them at a butcher shop). -
Edyta Blysk Thanks for the suggestions! Yea we agree she needs something to do. We’ve found she doesn’t like balls, frisbees kongs, peanut butter or bananas. We tried having her do an agility course at a dog park that’s 30 min from us but she wouldn’t leave our side. Guess we just need to show her a couple times how to do it. Not sure where we could find something for her to herd but that might work. We think she may be constipated again and in pain because she’s not excited about walks, is lethargic and hasn’t eaten in 24hrs. We’re looking for toys that engage her. Every treat and toy we’ve gotten her she hides in the couch and buries it under the blanket.

Debbie Harris Sounds like the dog has abandonment issues try giving her socks or her own blanket
My dog may have eaten a piece of memory foam -earlier today she rose my bed up a little and it looked like the pieces were all there but now her stomach is making loud digestion noises so I am scared
no!!!!!!!!! Do not give your dog any over the counter drugs.speak with a vet and they should be able to recommend some thing for what ails your friend
