Hi Elaine, perhaps a bite? Could toxin from it have got into his system? Thats just a wold guess from your description of his symptoms. Maybe you should pop him to your Vet for a firm diagnosis and the correct treatment.
Good luck!

My cat drools profusely when she gets pet.. Is this normal? It’s like dripping all over the arm of the couch… ugh.
My 7yr Beagle has a sore on his back leg about as round as a pencil eraser and is drooling a lot. What could cause this ?

Ok I’m really not sure with your description what is actually wrong with your dog. I recommend a vet visit to see if the 2 symptoms are related.
my puppy got hit in the head/neck area with a closing door now he has been drooling and whining at night and lathargic … He is eating fine
Has been to the vets but shows no outward sign of brain damage or an area that should be hurting
The vet says its prob a parasite and he may have nauseous from it and thats why drooling but all of this started the very night the door hit his head
I dont know what to do puppy is 10 wks old
What should I do when my puppy was throwing up all morning and now she is drooling everywhere. She won’t eat or drink anything and she is barely moving on her own. Please help me figure out how to help her!
My husky is only 5 months old. He’s acting weirdly in an on and off basis. He starts having thick drools with head and tail down walking round and round. Please advice.
Update: My cat was drooling clear liquid then it turned to brown and then bleeding in approximately a week. Then she was rescued and taken to the Vet. She got treatment and was better with no vomiting, bleeding etc. but she was not eating. For day she passed loose stools. She was cured but then she ran away for a day. She was again rescued and fed milk and glucose water. her ears were warm at this time. She had three seizures followed by this.
She was taken tothe hospital and given an injection (Lori umm am not sure) after which she slept for like a day and then she was a little relaxed…she again had a seizure which was less severe after 27 hours…then treated… no injection for seizure this time no fever……… she became restless and wanted to be out of the basket…we released her…she started biting…had more seizures in the next 12 hours…at this point she wanted to eat and ate a little bit idk because of anger or hunger
we calmed her down and sent her to the hospital. all this happened over a period of 13 14 days…please tell me what this was…doctor tried to draw blood but it would not come out…no test could be done…is it RABIES?
My dog seems to droolong more than usual from the left side of his mouth. He seems ok otherwise, but he is definitely leaving a trail of drool wherever he goes.
i’d guess this is a dental issue. can you check his mouth to see if he’s broken a tooth or maybe has something stuck?
Drooling can occur for a number of reasons. Yes, dental issue is certainly one of them along with a foreign body in the mouth, licking something disagreeable or upset stomach. Either way, something is amiss. Unless you can safely check for something lodged on that side of the mouth, or don’t find anything, and it doesn’t go away by tonight, do have it checked.

My 8 month old Old English Sheepdog Shirley gets extremely car sick every time she goes for a ride. FYI at most the ride is 15 minutes. Excessive niagra falls drooling and vomiting. HELP. Otherwise she is perfection ❤️
I think it’s pretty normal. A majority of the cats that I know drool when they’re happy/relaxed, actually.
yep, normal.
Aw poor kitty
time for a kitty-proof couch!
maybe those plastic couch cover things?
or scotch guard, that stuff rocks!
