We are reaching out to Krista Magnifico, as new fathers to a seven month-old Maine Coon named Goliath. We recently found out that Goliath has severe gingivitis and needs several teeth pulled. While doing x-rays, our vet found that Goliath also has “a large mass within the nasopharyngeal region which is most likely a nasopharyngeal polyp.” Every clinic/animal hospital that we have contacted is either well outside our budget, or will not give us an estimate of the cost of this surgery without first paying for an initial consultation, even though we have labs, notes and x-rays from our vet visits–all of which we can readily share. We found your video on youtube describing this surgery and the cost. We would be happy to arrange travel to you, but because we live in Jersey City, we hope that we could organize to do everything in one trip. Would this be feasible? And if so would you be able to share what scheduling availability you have?

Ginger Boy's owner brought him to Jarrettsville Veterinary Center because his mouth seemed to be bothering him. He was drooling excessively, and had become reluctant to eat, even when his food was softened. This is despite Ginger Boy having had a dental cleaning and multiple extractions a couple of years prior - most of his teeth were actually missing at this point. The treating veterinarian recommended that Ginger Boy have full-mouth dental X-rays before scheduling another dental procedure, just in case he had any "retained roots." Retained roots from previous extractions can cause pain and infection.

She had tartar buildup, gingivitis and gingival erosion (inflammation of the gums and receding of gum tissue); she had bad breath, thanks to the dental disease, and she had already lost some of her teeth. It was recommended that Maggie Mae's owner schedule a dental exam and cleaning, and that some of Maggie's loose and diseased teeth be removed.

Max, a 9 year old Havanese Terrier, was seen for his annual exam. The veterinarian noted that Max had some tartar buildup on his teeth, but what was worse than the tartar was Max's gingivitis and gingival erosion (inflammation and receding of the gums.) Max was even having some trouble eating because his mouth was painful. His owner mentioned that adding water to soften the food helped somewhat. Since Max was obviously in pain and it was affecting his ability to eat, it was recommended that Max have a dental exam, scaling and polishing.

Dr. Magnifico and I just recently just did a polyp search on a 9 month old Maine Coon kitty… It ended up being chronic rhinitis which took multiple rounds of anti inflammatory, antivirals and antibiotics.
She trust Dr.Berger at Long Island Spay/Neuter… you will have to pay a consult fee no matter where you go, as this gets your foot in the door! Keep us posted-
