I have a ten yold morkie she has never been fixed nor has ever been impregnated the last few days she has been spotting blood from her area is this normal or is she going thru a heat stage or what

My lab mix is unable to move her tail. She seems to be very uncomfortable. She was boarded this past week and I am unsure about any injuries. If it persists I do plan on taking her to vet. Are there any things I can do for her comfort?

I just got a new 9 week old kitten. I got him the night before last. The Kitten is perfectly healthy in every way but one. It is eating solid and canned food. Canned food once a day and dry food through the day. He is drinking water. He is playful and active. Has urinated about 4 times. His belly is not hard. And he is sleeping well.

BUT he has not pooped yet.

The old owners said he pooped the morning of the day I picked him up. But that was Thursday and this is Saturday. I am worried. I wonder if it may be the stress of a new home, no mother or litter mates and two new cats. The one cage of mine has not taken to the kitten yet but the other is coming around.

I do have a vet appointment booked but I have anxiety and I worry.

My dog got 2-3 drops of water in his nose. Should he be taken in to see a vet?

We want to adopt a 9-month-old dog. The only thing in his medical history is a mild case of demodex that was treated with Bravecto. He has since been cleared off all mites. Is this a red flag for adoption? I read online that it can be an indicator of an underlying immune system problem. We have fallen in love with him, but if there are sure to be ongoing health problems, I’m not sure that we’d go ahead with adoption.

My 19 y/o dog has kidney disease. He is on a rx low protein kidney diet food & has started to experience discomfort. Wondering if hemp product w/ 23% protein (Canna-Pet) would be better or worse on his kidneys than Tramadol rx’d by vet.

I have a 1 1/2 year old male cat. As a kitten he was given all of his injections, was neutered and chipped. After then he was allowed to go outside for several hours at a time. we use a flea repellent drop on him monthly and he is wormed every 3 months in accordance with the packet directions. He enjoys being outside and always stays close to home, returning when shouted in. My partner is concerned that allowing him to go outside is significantly reducing his life span and is bad for his health, but he enjoys being allowed outside. Would you advise that it would be better for the cat to be kept indoors rather than allowed out during the daytime?

Sometimes she’ll open her mouth and it’ll seem like she’s gasping for air. I asked my friend, who’s mother is a vet and she said she may just be having digestion issues but I don’t think that’s the case. I never really see her drink water. I have her caged with a male bearded dragon and he’s 100% completely healthy. Tonight she was in her cage and she didn’t look good at all and I had a bad feeling so I picked her up and usually when I pick her up, she’ll flail her arms and legs around for a second until I put her on my chest. She didn’t flail her feet around or arms and she seemed completely limp. She’s still breathing and I have her in bed with me now. Please help. I’m so worried. I’m 16 and I don’t have a lot of money so I can’t take her to the vet because I don’t have enough money. If anyone that answers this thinks it’s manditory for her to go to the vet, I will do my best to find a way to pay for her to be seen. Thank you.

Hi, I’m staying at a friends house and she has a bird. She just went to sleep and I was eating a chips ahoy chocolate chip cookie and I see her give the bird human food all the time so I have the bird about a third of the cookie. I’ve been reading a lot of articles some saying the a little amount of chocolate is fine and some saying any amount of chocolate can be extremely lethal. I was just wondering if the bird will be alright?
