I hate to be the one to tell you this, but cow’s milk is REALLY BAD for cats of all ages. Most cats are lactose intolerant, and I’d say the same for your kitten. Don’t try to force feed her, take her to the vet ASAP. I really hope she feels better, though.
My lab is 9 years old and weighs approximately 82 pounds.

1- She Only Took Cows…
I got this 1.5 months old persian female kitten yesterday.
1- She only took cows milk for the first time during day and did vomit at night.
2- Today she took nothing, except water (only small quantity) and did not go to litter box whole day.
3- She is very slow and almost sleeping whole day.
4- I tried to force feed her milk and cat food, she immediately did vomit.
What should i do now? Its public holiday next 3 days no vet is open.

julie brader You need to take her to an emergency Vet without delay, your kitten sounds to be very ill. Cows milk is not good for kittens of this age she needs kitten milk. Shes also too young at 1.5 months to be away from her mum. Please stop force feeding her cows milk and food it may be that causing her to be ill….take her to an emergency Vet.
My cat threw up a small amount of white foam and then had some kind of seizure and fell over. Then started twitching. What could be wrong with him?
My ten year old English Golden Retriever has developed open holes by her front knee area and they weap and nothing seems to help heal them up.
Can anyone give me help with this?
What’s the best way to stop a 1 1/2 year pit bull from playing to rough?
i also looked at him and he seems to have dry flaky skin now ..we also changed his food about a week ago i dont know if that may be the problem or if it was the bath please help i want my baby to have relief what should i do?

Anonymous i would have her on crate rest while indoors and limited low-energy leash time when outside until you can get her to the vet – her normal levels of exercise can exacerbate the problem. she IS in pain if she’s not using the leg, so a vet needs to be involved.

Amy Bryant Thank you, gave her 1/2 teaspoon of infernt calpol till i can get her to the vest tomz
-
Anonymous i have no idea what that is, but PLEASE do NOT give human-grade medicines. many of them can be toxic to pets.
the BEST thing you can do is keep her confined for now. seriously.

Amy Bryant A vet frined of mine said i can give it as its safe in very low doses calpol os a liquid parateamol for babys and children

julie brader Hi Cynthia, you probably won’t be able to tell shes pregnant just yet….shes not even half way through the 9 weeks they carry pups.
You may see a slight change in her nipples, perhaps they might be a little redder or bigger than normal but not even that really. Another 3 weeks and you should see some signs.
-
cynthia moore Perfect thanks yes her nipples are big and the last two look swollon a little is this normal when can I take her to a vet have u had chi babies before!?
-
cynthia moore And did u experience any complications of the chi’s birth
-
julie brader No I’ve never had Chi’s but all bitches carry them much the same. As for giving birth, did she mate with another Chi? If not puppies may well be too big for her to pass. I would make sure you have her checked by a Vet and one on hand when she goes into labour….these tiny breeds can have problems.
Make sure you worm the puppies when they are born at 2 weeks, 5 weeks, 8 weeks and every 3 weeks after that. Ask Vet about wormer for pups and mum will need worming too…all puppies have worms, they lay dormant in the bitch and pregnancy hormones bring them to life. They are passes to pups through placentas and mums milk. Good luck!! -
cynthia moore Yes she tied many successful ties with another chi
-
julie brader Ok thats good at least they are the same size dogs. Hopefully she will have the pups with no problems but be aware that theu still may be too big for her to pass.

julie brader Hello Britanny…..have you vaccinated your dogs yourself? I believe you can do that in the States I’m in the UK and we can only have their shots at the Vet here….and theres always 2 injections not just one.
I’m so sorry to hear you have lost 2 of your 3 dogs to Parvo….., its a dreadful disease I know. You would be doing the right thing surrendering the puppy to a shelter. If he can be helped they would do that. You need to have a look in the phone book for Shelters in your area, give them a ring and see what they say. I only wish you could take this puppy to a Vet yourself and save him…at least you would have one dog left to love and receive it in return. Perhaps it may be worth phoning Vets too and ask if they could help you? Please do try, its very sad to think you will lose them all.
However if you do surrender this puppy to a shelter please please don’t get another puppy until you can afford to get its shots at a Vet and have enough funds for its future health care.
I wish you good luck and thank you for putting your puppy first.

Dar Sawyer Check out wolf creek they have a few things you can try. Or take to the vet they will put on an IV and it can be pricey

Kasia R Hi! I have the same problems when putting drops for an ear infection in the ears. Always a battle..but now, I wait till he is relaxed and sleeping beside me..I use a thin syringe (without the needle of course) and I do it when he is sleeping..so much easier..the bottle they give the drops in, doesn’t go deep enough into the ear that is why I use a thin syringe.

Lisa Pfab you can do passive restraint by holding his snout, and give him a great reward when done. Dogs ears are hard to clean, and need to be done until the problem is resolved.
what’s he eating currently? i’d look at a food or environmental allergy. resolve that, you resolve the itching.
