We Have A 4 Month Old Boy, (Cinder) And A Decided To Get A New…

We have a 4 month old boy, (Cinder) and a decided to get a new kitten, (Willow) recently so they can be friends while we work all day, so they don’t get lonely. She had ringworm and red bites all over when we got her, she wasn’t looked after very well. We got treatment for her from our vet, a 2x week shampoo and anti-fungal cream daily. Her’s are all clearing up and looking better, but now Cinder has developed one on his ear. We are treating it like we were told to treat Willows. Shampoo 2x week and cream daily. Now his ear is red and shredded of skin and hair and the other one is starting to do the same. He’s developed red spots on his temples and head. He had just started to get diarrhoea as well. And we haven’t changed his food, his mood is as normal. Still running around and chasing things. We have confined them to a tiled area of the house, which he is hating. But does this sound like something other than ringworm? Willows ringworm is healing completely different. Or is it possible he’s reacting to the treatment?

For 2-3 Weeks. My Kittens Have Eye Discharge On Can Hardly Open His Eyes, Obvious…

for 2-3 weeks. My kittens have eye discharge on can hardly open his eyes, obvious difficulty breathing, sneezing, decreased in appetite, though they still eat… Sometimes I worry because there breathing get’s so shallow, or when my boy is laying in me it’s like breath is being punched out of him every time he breaths, they both sneese, but the girl is worse than the boy with that, and they sleepn so much. They’ve gotten out more than a few times, but they are indoor cats. I’m trying lycine until I can take them to the vet, but they don’t like it so it’s hard to get them to take it, and I’m keeping food and fresh water. I just so worried. I think maybe, it could be a uri, and maybe some autoimmune disorder because they were born from a feral colony and a lot of them have something going on, but what do I do and how can I help them, until I can get them to the vet. I’m so worried.

Since then the kitten has been playing with me, eating and drinking, his poop looks like it looked before. Should I expect something bad to happen? It looks more or less like that http://image.ceneo.pl/data/products/28776687/f-k-m-domowy-pochlaniacz-wilgoci-humistop.jpg?=bc5d6.

I AM NOT A VET, but in your situation i think i’d wait and see.  i don’t think there’s anything inherently toxic in water found in a dehumidifier.

Thank you 🙂 Do you maybe know how long can it take for symptoms to appear? He still seems fine and energetic

that i don’t know, but i’d just keep an eye on behavior, urinating, defecating, eating, drinking, etc. for a day or two, then i wouldn’t even bother worrying.

Thank you for your answer. I agree, it will take time, but I think our cat will enjoy the company of the kittens in time.
