I really can’t see how the deep fryer oil could have caused this skin problem. However, I think she has a significant skin problem and needs to see a vet before it gets worse.
3yr old Don Sphynx has really bad URI, vet gave 2 weeks of synulox (amoxicilin) with no improvement, so conuclide it mus be viral. Just started l lysine, for a few days and his symptoms appear to be getting worse. his eyes are clear but hes deeply congested and sneezing considerably more mucus everywhere, and sneezing frequently. does the l lysine make things initially appear to be getting worse? As in, loosening the mucus that’s there? Or will he need other treatment? he hasn’t had any booster jabs for a long time since a kitten.
My overweight calico cat, her name is Raja, has some kind of sickly-sweet smelling dark discharge coming out of her butt, i can’t tell if it’s her anus or vagina. The skin around the base of the tail and lower back is also super sensitive. She has just today started showing signs of pain but the discharge has been there for weeks. What’s going on?

I have a German shepherd and her hind legs are swollen and she can’t walk much. She is 6. Any way to help relieve the pain before I can get her to a bet tomorrow? Ice? Heat? Anything?

Anonymous i’d also worry about DM, knowing how prevalent it is in GSDs.

Ashley Williams Thank you. I will get her there first thing tomorrow morning
The vomit is usually a yellowish colour but a few days ago it had black in it… She has stopped eating, but recently my mom bought canned dog food and she will eat that. She doesn’t bark anymore when we come home and doesn’t even lift her head to my parents. We did, recently get a new puppy. She is obviously jealous and I give her all the attention I can. But she seems sick, not just sad or depressed.. Please, help.

My dog is vomiting, not eating (unless we give her canned dog food) and has stopped barking or even lifting her head when we come home… Please help 🙁
I have a 8 year old min pin that is 6 pounds and has been coughing off and on can I give her cough medicine
My 10 year old chihuahua has developed a cough that’s been persisting for a little over a week. It sounds like there is something stuck in his throat. The cough is dry and sometimes sounds like honking. Could this just be kennel cough?
My cat has dried blood at the edges of his nose. Why? He hand his sister were given to us as kittens and she does not have this. They have their first felvshot as well as one other shot, no boosters and no other shots as we became unable to afford the bills of the only vet in the area. Otherwise they are both eating and drinking well, playing and active. They are 1 and 1/2 years old. He has no other health issues we know of just this cake black stuff at the edges of his nose that looks like dried blood. What should I do? And we have no money for an expensive vet bill. We have asked about a payment plan but they will not do that for us, and they are the only vet clinic around. We do not have a car.

She is spayed, about 6 years ago. She is 7. I know I need to bring her to a vet, I just haven’t had the money, but ill have enough soon. I just wanted to know what it might be and if there’s anything I can do in the meantime. I’ve tried to see where it’s coming from but it’s very hard to tell and she is finicky when I try to look. If I had to guess though I would say her anus.

I was thinking along the lines of anal sacs issues too, but nothing I looked up described what’s going on. Ill just have to wait until our vet sees her. But anyways, thank you for helping me out, I appreciate it!
